"Villa Lilly" up to 6+4 people:
Close to Finale di Pollina, a
small village near Cefalω (at 14 km) in the North-western part of the Sicilian
coast is located Villa Lilly, the country residence of Baronessa Franco and her
family, on a hill in the middle of a big garden. The fantastic view goes down to
the sea and the private beach, which is right at the mouth of the river Pollina
(at ca. 400m), at ca. 5 min. walk from the villa.
The independent side guest apartment is on two levels: 2 double bedrooms (1 twin,
1 double), a bathroom/tub and a cosy, very spacious living room with open
fireplace and much atmosphere, sofas, dining area and the kitchen on the ground
floor.
On the second level there is another double bedroom and a bathroom/shower.
The Villa is immerged in an enormous garden, plenty of typical Mediterranean
flora with a football ground, several country tables and relax areas in
strategic position to enjoy the panoramic view, the covered veranda with view
invites to slow down, possibly with a homemade pizza, prepared in the big,
typical pizza oven close to the house.
Amenities: TV, stereo, fridge, washing machine, open fireplace, some heaters for
fresh evenings in spring, pizza oven, small football place, private parking,
private garden and beach
The next village is Finale di pollina with its shops, a supermarket, the theatre
and the public swimming pool. At 7 km is located Tusa, a small fishers village
with its typical restaurants; Castelbuono and the natural reserve Madonie is
very close. It is very easy to reach the highway to Catania and the Etna for day
trips.
